Easy English Trifle

Makes 16

1 small yellow cake mix or angel food cake mix
1 large package vanilla instant pudding
1 large carton dessert topping or 2 cups whipped cream
2 10 oz packages frozen fruit

Make vanilla pudding following directions on the box. Mix and bake cake as directed on box. Cool cake and cut in squares or bite size pieces. Whip cream or defrost frozen dairy topping. Defrost fruit.

To assemble dessert, use a trifle bowl and layer items in the following order: 1/2 cake, 1/2 berries, 1/2 pudding, 1/2 cream.


Repeat layers. Refrigerate.
