Pepperidge Farm Sausalitos Cookies
1 lb. butter, softened
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
12 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
3 c. chopped macadamia nuts
Preheat oven to 375F.
In a large bowl, cream butter, eggs, vanilla
and both sugars. In another bowl, sift together baking powder, soda, salt
and flour until well mixed.
Add dry mixture to creamed, until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips
and nuts. Shape dough into 1" balls; place on greased baking sheets
about 2" apart.
Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool on sheets
briefly, then remove to rack to cool completely.
