Tom Everest is in his 4th year as the Comets Linebacker coach. He played football at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he earned his B.A. and M.A. in physical education. Everest began coaching at University of Colorado, he has also spent two years at University of California Santa Barbara, and a high school in Texas, He has worked with the Edmonto Eskimos of the CFL, and the San Antonio Gunslingers of the USFL, then seven years at Escondido High School.
