When you see the Comets stop their opponents at the line of scrimmage think J.G. Aegerter. Joining the Comets again this year as Co-Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Line coach, J.G. Aegerter, is a man with an established reputation on the sidelines. After coaching Montana State's outside linebackers to an NCAA Division I-AA national victory in 1984, and coaching Rancho Buena Vista High's defensive line to victory in 1988, Aegerter lead the Comets defense to victory in the 1991 and 1993 national community college championships. Now living in San Marcos with his wife Karen and their three children Aegerter looks for victory again this season.
